June Challenge: Solids from Patchwork Sampler Blog

Some months the challenge is to finish UFOs and WIPs and other months it is to use some stash. The June Challenge is to use solid fabrics. Why solids?

Shades of Blue in a Sampler from Creatin' in the Sticks

 Welcome
to
the first day of the
Shades of Blue
Sew It Show It Challenge.

I'm happy to kick things off with my
Shades of Blue Sampler Quilt.


Skill builders like sampler quilts are so fun
and
I created this one just to play with some quilt block designs.


9 fat quarters of Kona Solids in shades of blue with some careful cutting,
became
31 quilt blocks and a 
54" x 72" throw.

The plan was to offer the pattern now, but I'm planning a sew-along in the future for this one.

So, stay tuned for that.
